Library Box

NMPC has recently installed a library box next to the Queen’s Jubilee bench at The Denes and affiliated to The Little Free Library organisation. We hope that it will help to build community, inspire readers, and expand book access for all.

Nash Mills’ Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. Little Free Libraries function on the honour system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share to that same library, or another in your area, when you can.

NMPC would like to thank George, a local craftsman from GRK Carpentry who we engaged to design and build the library box. Read more about his work in “meet the maker”. Thanks also to Harrison of JMH Roofing who helped out with box, and Moussa at MJS Pave for the installation.

NMPC is partnering with Nash Mills Primary School to celebrate World Book Day on 6th March. We’ll be holding an official opening ceremony for our library box. Please save the date and keep an eye on Facebook or our website for more details.

Please don’t leave any books outside of the library box as they will have to be treated as litter.
